Rambling

So yeah, new real honest to god bloger up and running. I was afraid I was going to have to hand write one in Perl to get what I wanted, but Blogger turned out to be so flexable I fell in love right off the bat. Seems fun. A hell of allot better that LJ, which so many people I know use. So far, near about everything is default settings, of which I will need to modify and play with allot when I get back. Namely change this template to something fun, but I doubt it will be back to the slouching Duo layout I had before. I think that will get used elsewhere on the site.

So I'm headed to Ireland tonight. Wow. Everyone I talk to is estatic about the idea... I'm just kind of eh... ok sure. I've been so busy with everything else, from my exbf to school, that I just haven't really even thought about where all I want to go other than Trinity and a few other schools, making my usual academic rounds. I'm sort of excited that I'm going back to one of the places my genetics says is home, and I wonder if I'll feel the same way as I did when I was in Germany. Western Germany had the feel of Home to me, and I picked up the language way faster than I should have. Who knows, maybe I will feel the same call of Home in Ireland, maybe I won't.

For you, my loyal readers, I will be hand keeping a travel log, to be posted here when I get back. It will be going under the "Distant Lands" section, hopefully. And for those of you who read this site fairly often, or who talk to me online on a regular basis - know I will miss you all while I am gone, and will think often of you, my loyal readers. I hope you will be thinking of me as I tromp accross the sheep fields of Ireland. *waves goodbye*

As someone I respect once said - Be good, and don't litter.
New Notes System... Welcome to the True Blog.

Setting something up right before I leave. Isn't that just like me? The old Notes will be converted to this system when I get back, but I needed a better way to update Notes on the fly than raw HTML. So here we go.

It's amazing what one can get done when you are bored in Stats class. Btw yay! 89% on my stats exam I barely studdied for thanks to personal problems! (Irony: dont study - 89%, study 86% - go fig).

I'll work more on this when I get to Java.
