Hu? Update? whats that?

Ok ok,, you have permission to hit the nessus next time you see her. Work on blog? Heh... yeah.

Ok, so MIA again for two weeks, and Back again. Heh. Ive been sick, and working, and going to doc apointments, and what not. Yeah, excuses excuses. Really, I havent been doing all that much except sleeping, playing Final Fantasy IV, playing DAOC, and playing Sim City and the Sims. Life would be good except for the fact I havent been sleeping very well and Ive been sicker than a dog. God damn colds.

So what's been going on? E3 is. Yes, E3. Mmm... games. For good coverage, go check out Gamespot's coverage for all the goodies. My primary excitement this time around is of course, Neverwinter Nights. Also on the list of the excitements is an announcement for an expantion for DAOC, called DAOC: Shrouded Isles, which while the rest of the DAOC community isnt excactly excited about it, I for one am.

Also on the e3 front, check out the Metroid action on Game Cube and GBA. Mmmm Metroid. If I had either system, I'd be very excited. Bad news is that FFXI will be delayed till at least 2003. I'm half looking forward to, half dreading Squaresoft;s venture into MMORGs. What I've seen of it looks beautiful, a very richly developed world. My only question is, will there be a developed story with characters you care about other than yours. If there is, I'll be happy. Story is why I play Squaresoft games, end of story. Heh.

So anyway, I'm off to pack.

Tired ferret.

Strixus, Where are you?

Hehe. Ok, so I've been MIA for the last few weeks due to finals. Now, with the long break streaching out in front of me, I hope to spend allot more time working with this blog, and actually getting it going in a particular direction besides 'insane ramblings of yet abother blogger'.

I've been paying allot of attention to the midwest pipe bombing and its far left wing perpetrator, a 21 year old college student. Bad enough I had people looking at me funny in high school for wearing a brown trench coat (not even BLACK!), now normal every day college students are going to be the Evil Among Us for the next few months. In all seriousness, I have to worry about the kid's sanity, mainly because hes never had any known incedence of anything like this, and hes about the right age for a first manifestation of a manic episode. And this sort of thing while funny, hardly is sane.

I've also pretty much given up following middle east news, and started trying to figgure out my odds tables on taking bets on when the Arab countires are going to actually declare open war on Israel. Right now, things are at the constant simmer of pre war terrorism, and I'm just waiting for the breakout of full scale hostilites. At least I know what side the US will be on in the whole thing.

Also in recent news, France did something that almsot resembled intelegence and did NOT elect Le Penn as PM. Not that I wasnt looking forward to France degenerating into a modern equivalent of pre WW2 Germany, but really, that would have been too much for my historical sencibilites to stand. Still, I cant say I wouldnt like to see France withdraw from the EU, close its borders, and kick out every non French individual in the country, then be the subject of UN military action, while Brittany finally gets its act together and fights for independance. Mmm.... Lets see how fast they can spell surender in Paris.

So yes, things are back to normal. And yes, those pills are what they look like. Happy ferret.
