Just to prove the circularity of the universe...

The study of invisible writings was a new discipline made available by the discovery of the bi-directional nature of Library Space. The thaumic mathematics are complex, but boils down to the fact that all books, everywhere, affect all other books. This is obvious: books inspire other books written in the future, and cite books written in the past. But the General Theory of L-Space suggests that, in that case, the contents of boos as yet unwritten can be deduced from books now in existence...

On another topic, its day one of my diet. I am already starting to have fantasies about peaches that would make most soft core porn seem bland and as errotic as a dead fish. Not to mention how much I am craving pasta.

Niven's Laws
#13 - The world's dullest subjects, in order:
a) Somebody else's diet.
b) How to make money for a worthy cause.
c) Special Interest Liberation.

So no more about my diet - at least for now.

I really did mean to post something before I left for last week. Really.

I was in Chicago from Monday till Thursday. Flew up and back. Was quite nice. Wish the city didnt get so cold in the winter, or it would be a nice place to live. I saw the bulk of the Feild Museum, including Sue and the Man Eaters of Tsavo, as well as a gray kangaroo skeleton that I want the mesurments on for my paper. Lots of stuffed birds and snakes and primates and african animals. And Tsu Lin, the first panda in the West, as well as about 5 snow lepards. All sorts of things.

Also visited the original house of blues, which was fun.

But I'm back now. Yep. Start my new diet tomorrow. Had my last package of hotpockets tonight, and all the various other last sacrements of carbohydrate goodness. Tomorrow its meat and water and lettus for 2 weeks. Lord help me.

Anyway, I'm back.
